We're used to seeing Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton destroy pitches, and he nearly did even more damage on Friday night.
Stanton hit his 22nd home run of the season on Friday night off San Francisco Giants starter Madison Bumgarner in the bottom of the sixth inning at Marlins Park.
This one nearly hit the infamous home run sculpture in left-center field.

It's only a matter of time before Stanton gets his own statue out there.
The hit was clocked at 108 miles-per-hour off the bat, and as you can see above, it was a 77 MPH pitch.
That's destruction.
