Cliff Lee says he's 'probably' done for season after reinjuring elbow, returning to DL
Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cliff Lee is not optimistic he'll pitch again in 2014 after reinjuring his elbow in Thursday night's start against the Washington Nationals.

Lee was diagnosed with a left flexor pronator strain, the same injury that caused him to miss two months of action earlier in the season. The veteran was visibly frustrated when he called trainers to the mound in the third inning, indicating the injury was significant.
Cliff Lee on elbow-"its pretty much the same thing I felt before". It felt like if i kept throwing something was going to snap".

Further tests will reveal the true extent of the injury, but this certainly doesn't bode well for the Phillies' prospects of dealing Lee in August to a contender. The team has already moved to place Lee on the 15-day disabled list. Even more troubling is that the 36-year-old hurler is still guaranteed roughly $37.5 million on his contract.
