Brayan Pena thought he had a chance, and he very well may have if Giancarlo Stanton wasn't manning right field at Marlins Park on Saturday night.
The Cincinnati Reds first baseman almost made it a double in the ninth inning of a tied game against the Marlins, until Stanton's cannon threw back to shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria for the tag - and the second out.
Cincinnati challenged, but the call was confirmed.
