Pirates still mulling McCutchen DL decision
The Pittsburgh Pirates are still mulling a potential roster move regarding reigning National League MVP Andrew McCutchen.
Hurdle: McCutchen has taken "a couple" of swings. Team being patient w/DL decision: "We're willing to stretch few more days on his behalf."

McCutchen, who is set to miss his fourth consecutive game since suffering a fractured rib, is without a doubt the club's best player and an indispensable element in Pittsburgh's playoff push.
The Pirates are 2-1 since McCutchen went down with the injury heading into a three-game set with the lowly San Diego Padres. The Bucs have a daunting schedule next week, however, when they square off in an interleague series with the Detroit Tigers and then head to Washington for three games against the Nationals.
The outfielder is slashing .311/.411/.536 with 17 homers and 67 RBIs through 109 games.
