MRI on Glen Perkins shows no structural damage or pinched nerves in neck
Well, there's some good news and some bad news in the results of the MRI conducted on Minnesota Twins reliever Glen Perkins on Saturday.
Glen Perkins had MRI: Results showed no structural damage or pinched nerves.

The good: there's no structural damage and no pinched nerves. That means, however, that Perkins experienced tingling in the left side of his neck without any discernible cause.
Maybe this is all positive for the Twins, who could get their closer back after a few days off, but we'd hazard a guess that Perkins remains a little concerned about mystery tingling.
As it stands, Perkins is expected to miss a few days, during which the Twins are unlikely to find themselves in a save situation anyway. Jared Burton would be the speculative add for fantasy baseball purposes, but it doesn't sound as if Perkins will be on the shelf long.
