Dodgers activate Paco Rodriguez from 15-day DL
The Los Angeles Dodgers activated pitcher Paco Rodriguez (back) from the 15-day disabled list Saturday.
Analysis:
Rodriguez will give the Dodgers another arm out of the bullpen for the playoff stretch run. He has struggled thus far in 2014, with an ERA over 4.00 at both Triple-A and with the big league club, but his 2013 numbers (2.32 ERA and 0.90 WHIP) has warranted him a chance to pitch for the Dodgers. If he does well enough, he could be a candidate to make the postseason roster assuming the Dodgers make it.
