Arenado was replaced in the fourth inning by Rafael Ynoa and it's unclear exactly how he suffered the injury.
The team is already missing talented All-Stars Justin Morneau (ribs), Carlos Gonzalez (knee) and Troy Tulowitzki (hip flexor) to injuries.
The team should provide an update on his status following the game.
