Braves' Heyward (thumb) out of lineup Monday vs. Pirates

Atlanta Braves outfielder Jason Heyward (thumb) remains out of the lineup Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Analysis:

Heyward was unable grip a bat Sunday due to swelling in his thumb, and will now miss his fourth straight game as a result. He remains hopeful for a return still this season, but in the meantime, Emilio Bonifacio will continue to see work in right field.
