Pirates' Martin in Wednesday's wild-card lineup vs. Giants
Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports
Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Russell Martin is in Wednesday's lineup against the San Francisco Giants, batting fourth.
Martin was slowed by a hamstring injury during the final week of the season, but he appears good to go for the elimination game at PNC Park.
The Pirates are stacking the top of the order with righties in an effort to combat Giants left-hander Madison Bumgarner. Josh Harrison and Jordy Mercer are a combined 7-for-12 against the southpaw.
