The charming eccentricity of San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence inspired fans of opposing teams this season to create mildly disparaging signs that suggested the 31-year-old "can't parallel park" and "puts ketchup on his hot dog," among other things.
Denizens of San Francisco, however, know Pence a bit more intimately, prompting his most ardent supporters to make their own signs extolling the veteran's virtues.

Not only does Pence recycle and call his mother, but he also contributes offensively, going 2-for-8 (.250) with a stolen bases through two postseason games thus far.
