Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout went 0-for-8 with two walks in his first two career playoff games, but broke out of his slump in a big way Sunday night in the first inning against the Kansas City Royals.
Trout launched a James Shields offering into the fountain at Kauffman Stadium to open the scoring and become the youngest player in franchise history to homer in the postseason.
