VIDEO: Royals' Gordon makes spectacular catch before crashing into outfield wall

Kansas City Royals left fielder Alex Gordon continues to shine this postseason.
The three-time Gold Glove winner has provided plenty of special moments on the defensive end during his eight-year career, but his fifth-inning grab during Game 4 of the ALCS on Wednesday came on a far bigger stage.
Holding a slim 2-1 lead, Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy stung a ball to left field that Gordon tracked, ran down and caught before crashing heavily into the wall:
Royals starting pitcher Jason Vargas showed his appreciation for Gordon's grab with a tip of the cap.
