St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Adam Wainwright (0-1, 3.86) hopes to bounce back from a rough start in Game 1, as the Cardinals try to stave off elimination in Game 5 on Thursday in San Francisco.

Wainwright, who allowed three runs (two earned) off six hits and three walks in 4 2/3 innings, will oppose San Francisco Giants left-hander Madison Bumgarner (1-0, 0.00) for the second time this postseason. Bumgarner tossed 7 2/3 shutout innings in Game 1, while striking out eight Cardinals' batters.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy plans to go with the same lineup in Game 5 as Games 3 and 4, with Travis Ishikawa batting seventh, ahead of Brandon Crawford.
