Cubs non-tender Wesley Wright

The Chicago Cubs non-tendered left-hander Wesley Wright, the team announced Tuesday.
Wright, a seven-year veteran who was projected to earn $2 million in his final year of arbitration eligibility, has been a steady relief arm for the past few seasons.
The 29-year-old has a 3.38 ERA (3.58 FIP), while striking out 8.51 batters per nine innings since 2012. Although his strikeout rate dipped last season, he'll likely draw a number of interested suitors as a lefty specialist.
