Report: Cardinals to wear patch in memory of Oscar Taveras

The St. Louis Cardinals will ensure the memory of Oscar Taveras lives on throughout the 2015 season.
The club will add a patch to the sleeve of its jerseys with "OT" inscribed for the duration of the campaign, reports Brian Walton of CardinalNation.
Taveras, 22, and his girlfriend Edilia Arvelo were tragically killed in a car accident in the Dominican Republic in October.
Taveras' former teammate and fellow countryman, Carlos Martinez, has already received permission to wear Taveras' No. 18, which is why the number won't be featured on the patch.
