VIDEO: Jonny Gomes makes a run-saving leaping catch in left

Jonny Gomes isn't known for his defense, but that doesn't mean he's incapable of flashing the leather from time to time. 

The Atlanta Braves left fielder made a highlight-reel grab during the ninth inning of Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Miami Marlins.

Atlanta lost for the third time in four games after reeling off five straight wins to begin the season. Gomes went 0-for-3, striking out twice.
