Twitter goes crazy after Kris Bryant's 1st at-bat ends in a strikeout
Twitter users lost their minds Friday afternoon during the debut of baseball's next savior, Kris Bryant.
The Chicago Cubs rookie sensation, who was called up Thursday, received a huge standing ovation when he stepped into the batter's box for his first big league at-bat at Wrigley Field.
While it seemed the majority of people on Twitter expected nothing short of a home run in his first plate appearance, Bryant, unfortunately, saw his first at-bat end in a three-pitch strikeout at the hands of San Diego Padres starter James Shields.
