Yordano Ventura: Ejected Thursday
Ventura was one of five players ejected between the seventh and eighth inning of Thursday's game against the White Sox, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Analysis:
Ventura finished his night with a groundout comebacker from Adam Eaton, after which he largely ignited a benches-clearing situation that resulted in five players begin ejected. He completed seven innings on the night, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out eight. Ventura's next start is scheduled for Tuesday against the Indians, but it remains to be seen whether a suspension is on tap for the young fireballer.
