Ramirez ties Red Sox record with 10th home run in April
Hanley Ramirez has shown no regard for opposing pitching throughout the first month of the season - or for keeping his helmet firmly on his head.
The Boston Red Sox outfielder blasted his league-leading 10th home run of the season into the monster seats at Fenway Park off Toronto Blue Jays knuckleballer R.A. Dickey, tying David Ortiz for the franchise record for most home runs hit in April.

"It's crazy how he hits the ball hard," Ortiz told Tim Britton of the Providence Journal. "It reminds me of my younger days."

Ramirez, who hit a career-high 33 home runs in 2008 with the Florida Marlins, snuck his 200th home run of his career around Pesky's Pole on Tuesday and has five home runs over his last six games.
The four-time All-Star has one less home run on the season than the Miami Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins, who sit in a three-way tie for last in the majors with 11 home runs each.
