Dealing with disciplinary issues clearly isn't at the top of Major League Baseball's agenda.
David Ortiz had a hearing with the league Monday to appeal his one-game suspension for making contact with a home plate umpire during an April 19 game, but that's not all that was discussed.
The hearing also included talks regarding Big Papi's infamous dugout phone-smashing incident from 2013 at Camden Yards in Baltimore, reports WEEI's Rob Bradford.
The Boston Red Sox slugger appealed his $5,000 fine for his outburst back in July of 2013, and the incident apparently wasn't handled by the league until Monday.
Rulings should be handed down by MLB in a couple more days, according to one of Bradford's sources.
