Any major league hurler will tell you they practice repeating their delivery to home plate more than any other pitching fundamental, but it's not as easy as it looks.
Tim Lincecum's windup has never been anything close to conventional, however, and The Freak endured one of the most embarrassing moments of his career to this point Thursday night in Cincinnati.

Lincecum's résumé speaks for itself: three World Series titles, two Cy Young Awards and a pair of no-hitters, so let's not be too hard on him.
"You've got 30 some-odd mounds out there," Lincecum told reporters of the muddy mound conditions. "You've got to adjust and work with it, and I didn't. More mentally it got to me. That's where I've got to tighten my focus."
