It seems only fitting that Madison Bumgarner would be the first pitcher to ever homer off Clayton Kershaw.
In the season's third meeting of baseball's premier left-handers facing one another, the San Francisco Giants ace launched a 415-foot solo home run in the third inning off of a 91-mph fastball from the Los Angeles Dodgers starter.

The blast broke a scoreless tie and was the seventh home run of Bumgarner's career, helping the Giants to a 4-0 victory at AT&T Park while completing a three-game sweep of their interstate rivals.
