Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval (knee) is out of the lineup Friday against the Angels.
Analysis:
Sandoval was expected to return to the lineup Friday after taking a pitch off the knee Tuesday, which caused him to miss the last two games. Brock Holt will get the start at third base for Sandoval on Friday.
