Dodgers' Grandal leaves game vs. Padres with apparent head injury
Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports
Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal left midway through Friday's game after taking a bat and a foul ball off his mask, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.
Analysis:
He was 1-for-2 before leaving and was replaced by A.J. Ellis. It was a scoreless game when he left so presumably he would have stayed in if it was a good option from a medical standpoint. Consider him questionable for the Dodgers' next game.
