Twins activate Fien from 15-day DL

Minnesota Twins right-hander Casey Fien (shoulder) was activated from the 15-day DL before Friday's game against Toronto.

Analysis:

He threw three scoreless innings in three games for Triple-A Rochester on a rehab assignment. Manager Paul Molitor said Blane Boyer will keep the 8th inning role, so Fien will work earlier in the game. However, it may not be long until he returns to his primary setup role.
