In his last hurrah before Jonathan Lucroy returns from the disabled list, Milwaukee Brewers catcher Martin Maldonado stole the show.

Maldonado belted a solo home run in the 17th inning to give the Brewers a 7-6 walk-off win over the Arizona Diamondbacks to snap a seven-game losing streak.

Diamondbacks left-hander Vidal Nuno had given up just one hit over 5 1/3 innings of relief before serving up Maldonado's blast.

"I saw something up and put a good swing on it," Maldonado told MLB.com. "That's what I was looking for. I was really tired so I was happy to end the game like that."

The two teams combined to use 23 position players and 16 pitchers in the longest recorded game in Miller Park's 15-year history at five hours and 49 minutes.

Maldonado took over the starting role after Lucroy landed on the disabled list on April 20 with a fractured big toe. He managed two home runs in 120 at-bats before his walk-off hit Sunday.

Lucroy is slated to rejoin the team Monday as the Brewers kick off a three-game series in St. Louis.
