Fantasy owners couldn't be more frustrated with the starting rotation of the New York Mets.
The club will now implement a "six-man light rotation" moving forward, according to general manager Sandy Alderson, reports Adam Rubin from ESPN.
That means Dillon Gee, who is reluctantly serving as the long man out of the bullpen, will fill in occasionally - depending on the team's schedule - but is not guaranteed a spot in the rotation.
Gee will start Sunday versus the Atlanta Braves, pushing Noah Syndergaard back a day to start the series opener with the Toronto Blue Jays. Matt Harvey, Jon Niese, Bartolo Colon, and Jacob deGrom round out of the six-man stable.
Here's how the rotation should pan out for the remainder of the set with the Blue Jays:
#Mets-#BlueJays probables:
at Citi:
Mon.: Syndergaard-Buehrle
Tues.: Harvey-Sanchez
at Toronto:
Wed.: Niese-Hutchison
Thurs.: Colon-Dickey

The Mets began the season with a standard five-man rotation, before moving to a prototypical six-man set upon the promotion of Syndergaard to the big-league roster.
