Blue Jays starter Estrada applauded his third baseman's effort to keep his perfect game intact, but it unfortunately would not last much longer. In the next at-bat, Donaldson barehanded a Logan Forsythe grounder but could not get the ball to first in time.
Wanted to send a Shoutout to the Jays fan who saved my face. Also was told young jays fan was ok. He's tough.

The game remained scoreless through eight thanks to a fantastic pitching duel between Estrada and Nathan Karns.
