VIDEO: Cubs' Rizzo avoids tag with unbelievable slide

A visit from a magician earlier this week had Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo looking like Houdini on Wednesday.
Tied 0-0 in the ninth inning with runners on first and second, Cubs manager Joe Maddon opted to send both runners for a double steal. The throw to third base initially beat Rizzo by several feet, but the quick thinking by the 25-year-old allowed him to somehow avoid the tag and slide in safely.

The New York Mets challenged the play, though Rizzo remained safe at third base. Chicago would go on to win 2-0 in extra innings.
