Brewers' Gomez sidelined with bruised wrist from HBP

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez is not in Sunday's lineup for the team's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds after suffering a left wrist contusion in the fifth inning Saturday.
Gomez exited the contest after getting plunked by Reds right-hander Josh Smith. He's listed as day-to-day.
The Brewers center fielder was slowed by leg and hip soreness for most of June but erupted for a homer and five RBIs in Saturday's 12-1 win. It was Gomez's first homer since May 29 and first three-hit effort in nearly a month.
The surging Brewers have won seven straight and 10 of their last 12.
