The American League revealed its reserves for the 2015 MLB All-Star Game on Monday.

Albert Pujols will make his first All-Star appearance as a member of the Los Angeles Angels and 10th of his career. The 35-year-old will start in place of the injured Miguel Cabrera.
Among the three AL position players making their All-Star debut, none come as more of a surprise than Boston Red Sox super utility man Brock Holt. The 27-year-old, who is making $530,500 this year, has played seven different positions this season, hitting .295/.383/.424.

Manager Ned Yost will have a tough decision when naming his starter, as Chris Archer and Chris Sale are tied for first place in the American League with 141 strikeouts, though Sale's have come in 12 1/3 less innings.
Yost will also have a pair of his high-leverage relief arms at his disposal after Wade Davis and Kelvin Herrera were selected by player vote and the Royals manager, respectively. Their inclusion brings the Royals' representation to an MLB-high six players.
