PHOTO: 10-foot alligator found in dugout of Rays minor-league team
Minor league baseball is never short on quirks, from questionable promotions to themed jerseys. On Thursday, a new gimmick was added to the list: an alligator.
The 10-foot beast seen below was found in the opponent's dugout at the Tampa Bay Rays' spring training facility, Charlotte Sports Park, home of the Single-A Charlotte Stone Crabs.
A few Stone Crabs players shared photos of the fearless reptile on Twitter.

There's no word yet on how the alligator found its new hangout, but let's hope for the players' sake this is a one-time occurrence.
