Didi Gregorius may need a night off and a bucket of ice.
The New York Yankees shortstop was unfortunately handed the painful task of trying to leap for a throw as Elvis Andrus of the Texas Rangers slid into second base on Thursday.
Gregorius decided to stay in the game after the shot to his nether regions as the Yankees and Rangers were in a tightly contested game at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
