Atlanta Braves left fielder Eury Perez provided some comedic relief in Tuesday night's clash with the San Francisco Giants.

After making a difficult backhanded catch on a Brandon Crawford liner in the fifth inning, Perez was given a second chance for glory when Ehire Adrianza sent a screamer in his direction later in the inning. Perez attempted a similar diving play to his right side, then raised his glove in celebration after a second consecutive highlight-reel catch. Or so he thought.

The problem was that the ball wasn't in his glove and had rolled all the way into foul territory to give Adrianza extra bases.

Perez laughed off the incident with teammates and coaches once the Braves escaped the inning.
