VIDEO: Orioles' Davis crushes 10th-inning grand slam to down Athletics
Chris Davis muscled up and squashed the spirits of the Oakland Athletics with a 10th-inning grand slam Wednesday to give the Baltimore Orioles a 7-3 victory.
"Crush" destroyed an Arnold Leon pitch to deep center field after the Athletics decided to intentionally walk Gerardo Parra to load the bases.

"I just didn't execute," Leon told Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle after the game. "It stayed right in the middle."
Davis added four RBIs to his season total with one swing, giving him the American League lead in the category with 79 at the time of the knock.
The grand slam was the second of the slugger's career and 28th home run of the year. Prior to Wednesday's contest, Davis was hitting .245/.327/.509 and sat in the AL's top 10 in slugging percentage at .509.
With the win, Baltimore earned its 55th of the season and continue to vie for a playoff spot atop the AL East.
