VIDEO: Squirrel interrupts Royals, Tigers at Comerica Park

Fans foolish enough to venture onto the field of play during a Major League Baseball game are typically prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and often banned from the stadium in question.
It's unclear, however, if that policy applies to rodents.
On Thursday afternoon, one bold squirrel scurried onto the field at Comerica Park during the eighth inning of the Detroit Tigers' series finale against the Kansas City Royals, temporarily delaying the game.
Though it wasn't particularly cooperative when Ben Zobrist attempted to escort it off the field, the squirrel eventually crept under the outfield wall, allowing the Royals' recent acquisition to patrol left field unencumbered.
