This is good news for Sabathia after the veteran southpaw landed on the disabled list Monday due to right knee inflammation. There was some concern about the injury moving forward given that his right leg is his landing leg when he's pitching, but it sounds as though he could make a speedy return. Sabathia acknowledged that he'd accept a bullpen role once he comes off the DL if the Yankees decide to go that route.
