Blue Jays announce postseason tickets will go on sale Wednesday
Toronto Blue Jays' fans who have dreamt of playoff baseball for the last two decades were dealt a healthy dose of reality Tuesday as the team announced the dates postseason tickets will go on sale.
The Blue Jays will open sales for playoff tickets to season seat holders on Wednesday, with the general public having availability to purchase tickets later next month.
Toronto heads into a three-game series with the Texas Rangers on Tuesday in a tie for the division lead with the New York Yankees, while also holding a 4 1/2 game lead for top spot in the wild-card race.

Ticket prices for the wild card and American League Division Series range from $50-$425 per game, while a World Series ticket will cost anywhere from $160-$1,400.
The Blue Jays currently own the longest postseason drought among any team in the majors, having not qualified since winning their second-consecutive championship in 1993.
