The Washington Nationals are still on the hunt for a new manager after firing Matt Williams and his coaching staff Oct. 5.

Washington will continue to speak with candidates about the role, and two names who will receive second interviews are Dusty Baker and Bud Black, The Washington Post reports.

Baker, 66, last managed in the bigs with the Cincinnati Reds from 2008-13 and is a three-time National League Manager of the Year, earning 1,671 career wins in the regular season.

The 58-year-old Black was dismissed from the San Diego Padres on June 15 after spending over eight seasons with the club. The 2010 NL Manager of the Year won a World Series title as pitching coach of the Los Angeles Angels in 2002.

Other names that have surfaced as contenders include Ron Gardenhire, Tim Wallach, Ron Wotus, and Phil Nevin.

One name that is reportedly out of the running is former Nationals bench coach Randy Knorr.
