Ben Zobrist names newborn child after Royals

Ben Zobrist only spent a few months in a Kansas City Royals jersey, but his championship run with the team has had a huge impact on his personal life.
Zobrist and his wife, Julianna, announced the birth of their third child Friday, a girl they named Blaise Royal Zobrist.
Zobrist is now a free agent, but Royals fans could take this as a strong indicator the switch-hitter wants to re-sign with the club.
The 34-year-old thrived in Kansas City after being acquired in a July trade from the Oakland Athletics. He hit .303/.365/.515 with two homers and six RBIs in the postseason.
