Mariners top list of MLB teams to follow on Twitter
The Seattle Mariners were ranked baseball's best team account on Twitter by Sports Illustrated on Wednesday, with the publication stating it was the "quality of the feed, not the number of followers" that established the criteria for the order.
Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones (@SimplyAJ10), Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy (@BMcCarthy32), Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen (@TheCUTCH22), and controversial former big-league slugger Jose Canseco (@josecanseco) also made the site's "Twitter 100" of the top individual accounts.
