PHOTOS: The many different hairstyles of Zack Greinke
Fresh start means a fresh cut.
Zack Greinke revealed a new look - chopping off his long locks - during his introductory press conference with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, and throughout the years, the former Cy Young Award winner has given the baseball world a plethora of looks to take in.
Since his major-league debut in 2004, the 32-year-old right-hander has sported a series of haircuts, with some sticking out more than others.
KANSAS CITY ROYALS
A boyish Greinke sat down for his preseason team photo with the Kansas City Royals in 2003 with a cowlick hairstyle that somewhat resembles the look he sported Friday with the Diamondbacks.
MILWAUKEE BREWERS
After a trade to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2010, Greinke let his mane grow, which gave baseball fans their first look at a hairstyle he would sport more than once in his career.
LOS ANGELES ANGELS
During his first stint in the Los Angeles area, Greinke went back to more of a clean cut when he chopped off his long locks. His stint with the Angels, however, was as short as his hair. Greinke made just 13 starts for the club.
LOS ANGELES DODGERS
Although the hair started out as a shaggy mop job when he signed with the Dodgers in December 2012, Greinke's flow went through many different phases, from short and clean to long and wavy, but his most memorable look may have been the man bun.
Although it could be closely contested by his samurai impression.
