Nava signs 1-year deal with Angels

The Los Angeles Angels bolstered their outfield depth on Wednesday, signing outfielder Daniel Nava to a one-year deal.
The deal has a base salary of $1.375 million with a chance for up to $500,000 more in incentives, reports Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times.
Nava provides the Angels with a left-handed bat and will join an outfield mix consisting of Mike Trout, Kole Calhoun, Todd Cunningham, and Craig Gentry, while also offering them another option at first base.
The 32-year-old split 2015 between the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays, hitting .194/.315/.245 with one home run and 10 RBIs.
