Nick Hagadone agrees to minor-league deal with Brewers

After agreeing to a minor-league contract with Will Middlebrooks and trading Jason Rogers to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a pair of young players, the Milwaukee Brewers continued to add depth Thursday, signing left-hander Nick Hagadone to a minor-league contract.
Hagadone's deal includes an invite to spring training.
The 29-year-old has spent his entire major-league career with the Cleveland Indians, posting a 4.28 ERA across 36 appearances for the club last season.
During his five-year career, the southpaw has struck out 9.3 hitters per nine innings in 143 appearances.
