PHOTOS: Mariners gift fan with signed Ichiro jersey
A Seattle Mariners fan received one of the greatest gifts he could ask for - a signed Ichiro Suzuki jersey - after he surprised the sister of a Seattle-based artist with a random act of kindness himself.
The fan, identified only as Marty, discovered that Keegan Hall's sister, Joanna, who suffers from cerebral palsy, is a big fan of the former Mariners right fielder.
So, in true Christmas spirit, Marty decided she was much more deserving of the bat once owned by Ichiro, which Marty had bought in an auction years ago.

After hearing of Marty's kind gesture, the Mariners sent Hall a signed Ichiro jersey to give to Marty for his charitable act.

In response to the gesture, an emotional Marty said: "No one has ever done something like this for me."
Helping others, no matter how small the gesture, can have a positive ripple effect far greater than the deed...
