You can bet the San Francisco Giants' front office was holding its collective breath after watching a Billy Burns liner strike Johnny Cueto's forehead Monday night. Amazingly, Cueto would shake it off and remain in the game.
Cueto suffered the blow on his first pitch of the game and then promptly gave up a three-run homer to Josh Reddick.
San Francisco invested $130 million over six years in the 2015 World Series champion this offseason with hopes he'd fill in admirably behind ace Madison Bumgarner in the starting rotation.
