After Adam LaRoche chose to unexpectedly retire after the Chicago White Sox wanted to restrict his son's access to the clubhouse, the 36-year-old's stance has been applauded by a number of players around the league.
Reigning National League MVP Bryce Harper and Toronto Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman were two of a number of major leaguers supporting LaRoche's decision.
Some, though, decided to poke fun at the White Sox in the ordeal.
Support for LaRoche even transcended the sport of baseball, as Kyle Long of the Chicago Bears issued a special invitation.
