Madison Bumgarner: Will start Saturday

Bumgarner (foot) will start Saturday against the A's, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Despite a couple of recent ailments -- a neuroma in his left foot and rib cage discomfort -- Bumgarner will end up missing just one spring outing. The lefty completed a bullpen session, and assuming he makes it through Saturday's appearance unscathed, Bumgarner will be on track to make his third straight Opening Day start.
