Saturday is a rare spring training off-day for the Houston Astros, and nobody is more excited about it than Carlos Gomez.

The outfielder jumped on a flight to his home in the Dominican Republic, where he's spending the day playing some sandlot ball with his family.

He had to show off his quick reflexes to save both himself and his nephew Jayden, who was in Gomez's arms when his 13-year-old son Yandel nailed his dad with a comebacker.
