Report: Blue Jays bringing back white-panel caps

The Toronto Blue Jays are bringing back a staple piece of headwear from the club's inaugural seasons.
After sporting the cap for just one game against the New York Yankees last August, the Blue Jays plan to wear hats with white front panels "several times" for the club's 40th season in 2016, sources within the organization told Chris Creamer of SportsLogos.net.
The Blue Jays began wearing the white-on-blue caps with their original logo in their inaugural season in 1977, but stopped in 1993 after players began to complain that it was bringing bad luck. However, the updated emblem may be enough to ward off any unforeseen miseries on the field:
